Trust Invests $1.5 Million in Integration of Care

The Kate B. Reynolds Charitable Trust announces new grants totaling over $1.5 million to bring substance abuse and primary health care providers together in the Health Care Division’s most recent round of awards. The integration or co-location of substance abuse services in close affiliation with medical home care provides clients with more efficient and comprehensive experiences with providers who are more aware of their needs and is a best practice approach identified in the North Carolina Institute of Medicine’s Substance Abuse Report.
