McCrory Signs Life-Saving Overdose Prevention Legislation

Opat-mccoryn Monday, June 20, Governor Pat McCrory signed Senate Bill 734, increasing access to the opioid reversal drug naloxone in an effort to prevent future deaths from drug overdoses. Dr. Randall Williams, North Carolina’s state health director, signed the statewide standing order.
