NSC Report Says 28 States Fail to Protect Their Residents from the Opioid Crisis

prescription-nation-2016States were evaluated on six indicators critical to effectively and comprehensively fighting the growing prescription drug epidemic. The National Safety Council report shows North Carolina as having met 4 of the 6 indicators, placing the state as “lagging behind” in the progress to provide a comprehensive, proven plan to eliminate prescription opioid overdoses.
