Methadone Overdose Deaths: First Two Weeks

According to Dr. Jana Burson in her blog:

“Methadone is a tricky drug to start, due to the narrow margin between therapeutic dose and fatal dose. Making it more difficult, people vary a great deal in the rate at which they metabolize methadone.”

The post explores the recently updated methadone induction guidelines and some of the variables presented by patients at higher risk of overdose.
